BMW R1300

BMW's motorcycle journey began in 1921 when the company started manufacturing engines for other companies. In 1923, BMW introduced its own motorcycles under the BMW Motorrad brand, debuting with the BMW R 32, which featured a flat-twin engine, also known as a "boxer-twin" engine. Production of motorcycles with flat-twin engines continues to this day, but BMW has also developed many models with other engine types. From Tourist Trophy races and speed records to off-road racing, BMW Motorrad has built a rich motorsport legacy. Scorpion has played a significant role in supporting this heritage by supplying exhaust systems to enthusiasts and independent racing teams, helping them channel the spirit of Motorrad into their riding experience.
