We’re delighted to announce that we will be continuing our close partnership with one of the best and most respected British Touring Car teams for the 2020 season. Scorpion has been technical partners with Honda Yuasa Racing which is run by the extraordinary Team Dynamics Motorsport for over 10 years.

Despite the upset caused by the world outbreak of Covid-19 Coronavirus, the livery launch proceeded at Team Dynamics HQ on Monday 16th March but under lock and key. A huge disappointment for us and other technical partners but safety is the key priority for everyone involved at this present time.

Shaun Leonard Scorpion MD said ‘It’s fantastic to share with you all that we continue our partnership with the team who we have worked so closely with over that last 10 years. Our vision is to provide true track-to-road technology on our road going products and working so closely with high-end race teams in such a challenging series allows us to do that. I look forward to seeing both Honda’s on track in the opening rounds”

The Honda FK8 Civic Type R looks fantastic in its new livery and it’s going to be exciting to see the developments that the team has made over the winter. 2019 was super competitive for Team Dynamics, with Dan Camish coming very close, within one lap of lifting the famous BTCC drivers title.

The first round of the BTCC was set to be at the iconic Donington Park Circuit however, the Covid-19 outbreak means the season will be delayed for now. It’s just a case of waiting and listening to the Government and World Health Organisation (WHO).

We wish all the team, drivers and technical parts the best of luck in the 2020 BTCC season.
