Fords more economical Focus ST has recently been under the supervision of the ‘Red Power’ R&D technicians.
The 2.0 TDCI engine in the Focus is much more economical than it’s 250bhp petrol big brother, and still packs a punch with 182 ponies under the bonnet! The Scorpion engineers saw great potential to upgrade the highly restrictive exhaust to keep it on the bumper of the petrol ST.
A 76mm 3in DPF back high flow exhaust system is available for Focus, extracting a little more power from the 2.0TDCi engine and reducing the weight by nearly half all adds towards keeping up with the petrol ST in a more economical way.
Both 100mm Daytona and ‘Serket’ style tailpipes are available at the business end of the Ford. The Daytona trim is available in a highly polished Stainless Steel or black ceramic coating and the Serket tailpipe is available in a brushed Stainless Steel or black ceramic finish.
