BMW really came to be recognised as producers of performance saloons after the formation of their famous M Division in the 1970’s and a real game changer for them was the launch of the E30 M3 in 1986 which went on to gain numerous championship victories in touring car racing. One of the first exhausts Scorpion developed was their own performance exhaust for the E30 M3 and at the same time Scorpion introduced the legendary DTM tailpipe to the UK market. Ever since Scorpion has been at the forefront of producing performance exhausts for BMW’s M cars and numerous others.

Our leading technicians have developed a 70mm / 2.75" GPF-Back system for the BMW 128TI. Our precision engineered systems are fabricated using CNC Mandrel bent large bore design which permits maximum performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas, combine this with our premium high-thermal-tolerance T304 “aerospace” grade stainless steel construction that will endure through the harshest of conditions. Developed with a high flow profile and acoustic rear silencer to eliminate drone while enhancing peak performance all without compromising on the unrivalled sound of the Scorpion system.

We have developed our GPF-back exhaust option to work with the original electronic exhaust actuators, which can be operated by the driver with the drive mode select button inside the car. This allows for the acoustically developed silencer to work in tandem with the valve function, giving the driver the ability to close the valve which will give a much quieter yet still deep tone from the Scorpion system, perfect for those long cruising drives, open the valves up however and you will hear the 70mm high flow system to its fullest potential. Our system gives the car a measurable reduction in weight when compared to the OE system this is an improvement that cannot be understated when machine meets road, weight reduction is a key component of performance.

To compliment the no-nonsense aero inspired angular aesthetics of the 128TI, we offer two handpicked styles of our signature Scorpion tailpipes. For this system you can choose from Polished Daytona or Carbon Ascari. These options allow for drivers to professionally tailor their cars aesthetics with unrivalled build quality to maintain peak performance on the roads. For those wanting to take the next step with performance upgrades our Scorpion technicians have also developed a GPF-Delete (closed circuit use only), granting improved gas-flow as a result improved performance and acoustics.
