Aaron returned to Mondello Park in Ireland for the third time, but his first time as a BSB rider.
Both of Fridays free practise sessions were run in wet conditions, this was causing big problems for Aaron, but overnight setup changes saw Aaron return to form and finish 13 fastest.
The afternoons quallifying session was also very wet, this didnt stop Aaron from producing consistently faster lap times until lap 6 where disaster struck, Aaron lost traction on a wet corner and slid into the gravel.
For the first race on Sunday morning the rain had stopped and the circuit dried out a little. Starting in 24th Aaron managed to make up to 20th place off the grid. On lap 6 however Aaron developed an electrical fault that forced his retirement on lap 8.
Race 2 began with Aaron having a typical flying start, gaining seven places by the end of the first lap. Unluckily on the third lap Aaron clipped a curb and slid off. This caused the following rider to Run Aaron over!! Fortunately he was only winded and bruised so he will be back in action on June 29th at Knockhill.
