Scorpion Sponsored rider get 5 points in BSB
Aaron Zanotti overcame masses of problems to claim 5 points in the 5th round of the Bennets British Superbike Championship at Snetterton.
Even with setup problems in the first few practise sessions Aaron eventually managed to pull a good lap out when it mattered and put himself 13th on the grid for race 1.
The first race began with a trademark Aaron start where he flew up into 9th place, but a slight error at the first corner saw him drop to 14th. Battling all the way to the last lap Aaron managed to finish 16th.
Unfortunately during race 1 the bike developed a problem which meant another lightning engine change for the crew.
Race 2 began with another lightning start with Aaron catapulting into 12th place, this 2nd race was a massive fight all the way to the line for Aaron but he managed to pull an 11th place finish in gaining his 5 points and bringing him into the Championship standings.
