Following on from the recent sucess at the World Superbikes Aaron was excited about the British Superbikes second round at Thruxton.
Though the crowds were loving the unseasonable hot weather, riders were not!! The heat combined with the tracks rough abrasive surface was causing grip problems for most riders, including Aaron!!.
Saturdays qualifying session saw Aaron finishing 20th on the grid, row 5.
Race 1 saw Aaron bog down on the grid and slip back to 23rd place by the first turn. By the midpoint of the race Aaron had battled hard but slipped back to 25th. Pushing as hard as his worn rear tyre would allow he managed to claw his way back to finish the race 22nd place.
Race 2 was a much better start for Aaron flying into 18th place off the line, a crash on lap 10 bought out the pace car for 3 laps. More hard battling in this race saw Aaron drop to and finish in 20th place.
